AHHH *Rips Hair Out*!

OMG! I'm having a lot of trouble shading brown and yellow. It's driving me up the damn wall! Can anyone give me a URL to any pallets with brown and/or yellow, or just every color in the spectrum? ^^;

I don't have a tutorial, but maybe I can help? I shade brown usually with a darker brown and high light it with either a lighter shade of the same hue or a less saturated, light shade of the same hue depending on on much I want it to 'pop!'

Yellow can be tricky. If its actually YELLOW (not golden) then I shade it with a less saturated mroe orange color, getting near sort of brownish. You can shade it with a more saturated orange color for a brighter effect (but it will look more orange). I always start with a yellow that's not my brightest, lightest yellow so that I still have room to go lighter for highlights. You can always use white if it's already a light yellow.

As for gold? I shade yellow with a warm medium saturated brown and hightlight with white. :D Hope that helps!!

Brown is the easiest. Simply pick a darker brown or take the Burn Tool. Yellow the same thing. DARK, it is the magic word.

Well, I'm now doing my edit's completely in MSPaint and Corel, so, I don't think I have a burn tool.

Just the hair, I've found out how to do yellow now. I just can't ever seem to do brown right. ^^;
